At the age of 15 I was lucky enough to get Bruce as my shooting coach. When we began, I couldn’t shoot very well.
Bruce simply quoted: Believe in his process.
Throughout my career I was known as a knock down 3 point shooter often leading the league in 3 pointers attempted and made with a percentage around the 40% mark. Throughout my career I shot my free throws over 92% which is top 5 in the history of the NBL.
To this day when I get asked how did I become a good shooter I always tell the story of Bruce and the process he put me through as a teenager. I had a career that lasted over 17 years and this was all because I could shoot the basketball thanks to Bruce.

I worked with Bruce when I was just starting out my career in basketball. His simple shooting techniques 100 percent helped my development as a shooter. My career featured college in America, 7 Years In The NBL and Multi Australian Representation.
There is no way I could have achieved this without the confidence in my shot and his techniques were a major factor.
I now coach at both junior and professional levels and I often refer to Bruce’s simple techniques.

Throughout my Career have been known as a really good slasher and a player who gets to the paint. I had a season where I was struggling mentally from the free throw line and the three point line. So much to the point where I was considering retiring. My confidence was shaken and broken. I spent a number of sessions working with Bruce and my form and my mental. Last season I shot my career best as a professional 36 percent from 3 which allowed me to get to the paint even easier. Sometimes it’s not all physical ability. Mental confidence plays a huge part and Bruce helps with that as well.
As a referee, I’m more accustomed to observing the game than participating in it. That’s why my experience with the Focus Pro Shot method was nothing short of astonishing. When Bruce showcased this technique to a coach, skepticism arose: could someone completely unfamiliar with playing the game master it?
I became the perfect candidate for this challenge.
To my utter disbelief, in less than 26 minutes, I didn’t just make a shot—I consistently scored, landing 3 out of 5 free throws. What’s more, I managed to net 3 consecutive shots.
This experience shattered my expectations; had I not lived it, I would have doubted its possibility. The Focus Pro Shot method has proven to me, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that with the right approach, mastering basketball shooting is not just for players.
It’s a testament to the unparalleled effectiveness and accessibility of this revolutionary coaching.

I have been working with these guys for years now! With lots of hard work and timely communication, they made sure they delivered the best to me. Highly recommended!I was considered to be a solid shooter, but Coach Bruce shared his method with me and everything changed and I improved dramatically. Whenever I feel like I’ve maybe lost my way when I’m shooting, I go back to what Bruce has taught me so I can coach myself, using a few simple steps, which has proven to be very valuable to me in the long term and I take it with me wherever I go.
I turned up to a coaching session with Coach Bruce, thinking it was going to be just another shot coaching session, where I thought he was going to try and change my shot and make it super uncomfortable. Wow – was I wrong! Within 20 minutes I was shooting the lights out, both in close and from range. And the best part, I did what was comfortable for me. Highly recommend the Focus Shooting Method!
Before meeting Coach Bruce, I prided myself on being a competent shooter. However, his coaching method transformed my game entirely. Now, whenever I encounter challenges in my shooting, I recall the lessons and straightforward steps Bruce imparted. This self-coaching strategy has become an invaluable tool, enhancing my performance significantly over time. It’s a piece of wisdom I carry with me in every game and practice session.
As someone with a non-traditional, yet highly effective basketball shot, finding the right shooting coach has always been a challenge. That is until I met Coach Bruce, the Focus Pro Shot coach. Unlike others who attempted to overhaul my technique for aesthetics, Bruce was the first to respect the effectiveness of my unique style. He introduced subtle, straightforward enhancements that have not only complimented my shot but have also been easy to maintain. These improvements have remained with me, proving the efficacy of his coaching method. Coach Bruce’s approach is truly a testament to understanding and refining a player’s natural talent, rather than conforming to conventional norms.
Anticipating yet another routine individual shooting session, I was instead introduced to a technique so simple, yet so revolutionary, it made me question why it hadn’t become a universal standard years ago. The impact since that session has been not just of improvement, but of transformation. In a classic case of ‘better late than never,’ I’m happy this happened.
